This doesn’t work for me in my project. When I select a track segment and hit tab. A polygon on the same layer is selected. When I hit tab again, I’m back to the selected track segment.
If I try this on the open REX project. It works. So it’s obvious that there is a setting somewhere to allow this. Any ideas?

Reply to myself. If a track segment is selected near a component then the component will be selected when pressing tab. I have managed to get the rest of the track to be selected as described in the video even I my project. But only if I select a track on a layer that is not the active one. Perhaps that is the trick?
edit: I’m using Altium 16.0

Interesting. I tried it in AD16.1 works as shown in the video. I am not sure what can be different in your project.
