11 The Most Common High Speed Design Rules

Here is the list of most common high speed design rules

1) Maintain Single ended and differential pair impedance,
2) Length match buses and differential pairs (consider to include length in package),
3) Length match differential pair signals within pair,
4) Route signal groups by same topology,
5) Keep space between “waves” at least 3x track width (ideally 5x),
6) Be aware of tracks running in parallel,
7) Use stitching VIASs when reference plane changes,
8 ) Do not use 90 degree angles,
9) Do not do stubs,
10) Do not cross planes,
11) Do not route close to the board edge.
